Learning English Primary 1, 2 and 3 consist of Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension and Writing, which are basic but essential to language learning. Learning English Primary 4, 5 and 6 deal with the same important aspects of knowledge and communication, but as English learning at this stage requires richer contents and wider contexts, the three books for upper primary pupils are largely context-based and methodologically varied.
All the books in this series aim to strengthen the pupils' English ability beyond their normal classroom learning. Besides, the tests in each book are designed to help pupils prepare for important English examinations, such as the Primary 4 Streaming Examination and Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE).
